The location is great for the hotel, it is store, restaurant bank and close to everything. The staff are helpful and courteous. The hotel rooms are spacious for one person and always clean. I really enjoy staying at this hotel and location, its 3 times I have visited here. Each time its been very pleasant
I stayed at this hotel twice when I had business trip to Changsha, China. It is in walking distance to the place I visit. Overall, it is a very nice hotel if you think of the price, less than $30 per night. It is clean and quiet. There are some nice restaurants and a supermarket around the hotel. You also can walk to River Xiang from the hotel. I like it, and will stay again for next trip.
Hotel staff were rude to my friends & refused to let them see me when they arrived at the hotel over many days. I waited a week to make contact with my friends. Hotel staff sabotaged my stay in Changsha. I could not make contact with my friends which wasted my entire trip to Changsha from New Zealand. I stayed a week to make contact with my friends. This sounds strange but is true.
I could not contact by phone my friends.
If you want to meet up with local people do not stay there. They get turned a way by the hotel even when they ask for you by name. Hotel staff neither confirm or deny you are staying there. This happen many times in the week I stayed there.
The hotel was really nice, and for a great price! It is a 20 minute walk or a 5 minute taxi ride to the subway, which was the only downside for me. There were some very nice sights to see within easy walking of the hotel.
Clean functional hotel with cheap adequate breakfast

Room without a View!
We booked two non-smoking rooms each with a king-sized bed. When we arrived the hotel informed us that since we paid such a low price for our rooms that they were giving us rooms without windows. The first room was on the non-smoking floor. The second one they tried to put us on the eighth floor and told us to keep the door open and it would soon smell like a non-smoking room. We refused to take it saying we had paid for non-smoking rooms. They eventually relented and gave us a second room on the seventh floor that had a window. While the hotel itself was okay and we generally like the JinJiang Inn Brand, we were quite disappointed with the booking.
