"We had a lovely weekend at Arden House. Lucie organised everything with so much attention to detail and care that being there felt like a cosy home. We even received a welcome card and chocolate Easter eggs every time the room was cleaned. The location was also great, just a five-minute walk from the castle. The rooms were spotlessly clean. I would highly recommend staying there!"

"Expedia gives this hotel 3 stars, however the sign outside and other sites give it 2 stars. I would say it’s closer to 2 stars based on the room we stayed in and our overall stay. The decor was dated, the tv didn’t work, the mattress was hard and pillows flat making for an uncomfortable nights sleep. "Angel Inn is close to the centre of Petworth, the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and spacious, the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom had a large modern bath and separate shower and everything was very clean. We appreciated the teapot in the room and selection of teas, also the complimentary flapjack. We ate in the restaurant area of the inn and had an excellent meal. "
