"The attic rooms, which are expensive, are not fit for purpose in hot weather. No air-con, of course, but you can barely open the windows. The sun blasts on to the roof just above and creates an oven! The provided fan was little help. Very bad night's sleep. The unhelpful receptionist told me that the hot room was due to the heat. I asked if we could swap rooms, but he said the hotel was fully booked, despite a portable sign outside saying 'Rooms available tonight'. Breakfast was very poor....

"Richard & Mark were the perfect hosts! They met us with a warm welcome & made us feel like we were guests in their home. The beach house was perfectly clean and their breakfast was a "Proper English Breakfast." The Seaside path was within walking distance and the view was spectacular. "Our stay at The Lamb was lovely a very friendly welcome, a beautiful spacious room with nice fresh decor. Plenty tea and coffee making facilities. Staff were so helpful, couldn’t do enough for you. Met the proprietor and took the time to stop and chat several times during our stay. We were attending the Goodwood festival of speed and a perfect location a 20 min drive.
