Lovely place to stay. Hôtel old chateaux, so don’t expect new hotel. It blends old tradition with comfort. Dining wonderful and food superb. Great stop off and short drive to town.

This hotel is a beautiful oasis very close to historic villages and towns. The rooms are atmospheric and well appointed, the staff is very helpful and friendly, and the restaurant is outstanding. Being at Chateau des Reynats was a blissful experience.

Very good restaurant. However, hotel building is old and does not meet my idea of a 4star hotel. Room not comfortable; no easy chairs to watch TV. Wooden floor, which was very noisy which disturbed my wife whilst sleeping. I can recommend the restaurant but the hotel is not in the same class.

Chateau les Reynard

This was a birthday treat for my wife, so we stayed at a hotel that we had passed many times and heard a lot about. We had a double room but no A/C which was needex. We did find a fan, so we put up with the noise. We looked forward to the lovely pool only to be told it was not in use due to re-tiling, most disappointing. Good news though, the new Spa facilities were now open but the new spa pool was not fit for use. I treated my wife to a massage and I got free use of the sauna's, ice cascade, cold tipping bucket and new computerised shower with sound effect and lighting, very very good. The Spa staff were excellent. The restaurant was lovely, the food delicious and staff courteous. Overall, I thought that the hotel lacked readiness, especially the lack of the swimming pools and general tidyness. The tennis court was not fit for purpose and needs a complete overhaul. I do however expect to return before the summer season ends.

Personal musste aufgefordert werden für Service. Im Treppenhaus, was sehr alt und eigentlich schön ist, sind die Fenster mit Dreck verschmiert und alte, sehr gut sichtbare Spinngewebe sind grosszügig in den Fensterecken zu finden. Nicht gerade sauber.

Das Restaurant im Hotel ist außergewöhnlich gut und preislich moderat. Unser Zimmer im Schloss war groß und sehr gut ausgestattet! Der Aufenthalt war sehr sehr gut.

Hôtel joli de l’extérieur avec beau parc. Les chambres sont vieillottes avec une décoration plus que datée. Le confort est plus que limite pour un soit disant 4 étoiles. La literie n’est pas bonne. Salle de bain du même acabit avec un filet d’eau alternant entre le froid et l’eau bouillant. Le sèche cheveux n’a aucune intensité. Les meubles ne sont pas en bon état. Quant au petit déjeuner c’est hors de prix 15 € 00 avec une qualité moyenne avec aucun service à table. Même chez Macdo il y a un service en salle mais visiblement plus dans les hôtels de standing. Heureusement le restaurant est délicieux plats desserts et vin proposés

Personnel désagréable et chambre inconfortable

À éviter. Nous sommes arrivés vers 16h30 pour profiter du spa. A notre arrivée on nous indique que le Spa est hors service. Nous trouvons ensuite notre (très petite) chambre avec un sol qui grince et mal insonorisée. Il y fait frais en cette fin septembre avec un vieux radiateur qui ne semble pas fonctionner. Je descend donc demander un moyen de chauffage, on me dit qu'un petit radiateur me sera apporté. 10 min plus tard le radiateur le la chambre fonctionne enfin, je descend donc avertir la réception, en indiquant gentiment et avec le sourir qu'il n'est plus nécessaire de nous apporter un radiateur. Je sors quelques instants récupérer un sac dans la voiture et à mon retour je surprend une conversation entre les 2 jeunes femmes de le réception, elles nous critiquent allègrement: "ils arrivent super tôt et en plus ils leur faut du chauffage non mais sérieux". Décontenancées par mon arrivées, les jeunes femmes stoppent nette leur conversion lorsque je traverse la réception pour regagner ma chambre. La chambre... aucun mini bar, pas de bureau, une seule chaise, du papier peint qui se décolle, des taches sur les murs et pour finir une litterie inconfortable. Les 4 étoiles sont une prouesse pour cet établissement qui n'en mérite pas plus de 3. Une très mauvaise expérience, principalement due à la malpolitesse des 2 jeunes femmes et à l'inconfort général de la chambre.
