An enjoyable stay at the Hotel Lyret during the "off season." The front desk staff were helpful and cheerful. The room offered spectacular views of the surrounding snow-capped hills and Mont Blanc. The hotel features a small spa that can be booked for sauna and steam-room sessions. A small pool and welcoming outdoor area offer skiers and outdoor enthusiasts respite depending on the season. A breakfast area, fireplace, and comfy seating are on offer to guests.

Location is perfect. Centrally located and walking distance to all the great restaurants, train station and the Aguille du Midi. The pool and sauna were clean and refreshing. Front desk staff were kind and accommodating.

Summer vacation 2025

Renovated hotel by the river in central Chamonix. I had a balcony facing the river and the mountains. Very service oriented staff. I highly recommend this hotel.

I’d stay here again

Convenient location. We were able to leave our bags in the ski room for a few hours after checkout. Staff is friendly. Breakfast was adequate. The one and only negative was that the toilet was in its own room and felt quite claustrophobic.Closing the door was tight and I’m not a big person.

The smaller, chalet style fit well into the Chamonix mountain 'feel'. The corner room had the best view which my husband really appreciated as we were celebrating his birthday! The staff was absolutely wonderful in all ways.

Fantastic and Peaceful

Amazing stay the hotel was just beautiful and the balcony overlooked the stream below and had fantastic views. Great breakfast and facilities and the staff even helped me charge my phone.

Recommended hotel in Chamonix

We had an amazing stay at Lyret, perfect view of the river and mountain from our balcony. Service provided was excellent. Only negative would be the €20 for early check-in.

Well located on the edge of town. Good breakfast, worth the extra charge. The hotel has a bar that we did not use because the beer collection was quite limited. The multi-lingual staff were helpful. We enjoyed our stay and would return.
