In Arizona’s Petrified Forest National Park, hike through an otherworldly landscape filled with cone-shaped hills banded with brilliant colors.

Despite its name, expect to see more geologic marvels than standing trees along this easy loop trail in Petrified Forest National Park.

Camels, a seasonal river and a 19th-century expedition are part of the rich history of a viewpoint above a Martian-looking landscape.

You can learn about the history of Chambers with a visit to Jasper Forest. While you're in the area, wander around the natural setting.

Located just inside the park’s northern entrance, this observation point has excellent vistas of the multicolored topography of the Painted Desert.

If Kachina Point is what brings you to town, hopefully you'll have a chance to explore more of Chambers.
