"Staff were particularly helpful and pleasant not to mention very efficient. Abi was the very best example of a staff member who did everything to ake our short stay enjoyable.
The shower in room 11 needs attention as does the loose toilet seat, otherwise impeccable."

"Lovely overnight stay. Used as a base to explore the surrounding areas. Was a bit concerned when we read that a lot of staff had walked out upon sale of the property (some sort of protest I guess).

The rooms maybe a little tired but were spotless and very comfortable.

"Brilliant little gem of a place. Received an upgrade to a 2 bedroom suite prior to arrival. Self checkin was super easy and room was made up with fresh towels on the 2nd day of my stay.
Nice touch with sweets in the room and also having a little kitchen area in the suite was very useful."
"I can't speak highly enough of thi s hotel and bar. The owners were very friendly and helpful, the decor and comfort are excellent. We stayed in a family room, which is ,in fact, 2 bedrooms, and a bathroom. One room has a double bed, the other 2 singles. TV in both.Everything you could need is provided, and the bathroom is fabulous. Continental breakfast included too.

"A great stay! The instructions for the self service access are really clear and whilst we did have an issue with the code for the lockbox with the key room, we called and the concierge on the phone helped us instantly.

I stayed in room 10, a large lovely room, bed is a superior king-size & so comfy, the best bed I have ever slept in. This is now the second time I have stayed here & will definitely be back. Breakfast is really good, lots of choice, full English yesterday & freshly made pancakes with banana, blueberries & strawberries drizzled with maple syrup, delicious."
