"Great staff, easy check in, breakfast is daily from 7:30 to 10:30. Highey recommend. Bus stops very close by for those who don't have a rental car. Bus 130 takes you straight into central Dublin! Perfect experience all around for Clontarf Castle and the staff"

"It's a beautiful hotel and the dinner we had at the restaurant was excellent. We were also very happy with the shuttle service to and from the airport. However, for the price we paid, I expected air conditioning in our room, or at least a circulating fan to use. The one window opened only a sliver and it got pretty stuffy in our room fairly quickly. That was during May; I can't imagine what it would be like during a summer heat wave."

"Excellent location, right in the heart of the city. Walkable to major sites and public transport. Clean, aesthetic rooms. Very nice bar/restaurant with spacious separate lounge area. Very friendly and helpful staff."

"There are 2 Clayton Hotels in the area. Make sure you go to the one right next to the airport entrance. Breakfast will was good but not outstanding. Rooms have air conditions which is a life saver in warm weather. Many hotels do not."

"The hotel itself is fabulous. Front desk staff are welcoming and helpful. My room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. My experience in the bar/restaurant was not a good experience. I was travelling solo and was treated like a nuisance because I was dining alone. I was very happy to sit at the bar while I waited for a table but 2 couples and a single were given tables before me. "We stayed at The Lucan Spa two different days during our trip as we were driving through Ireland and it was not too far from the airport. I can’t say enough about the staff - we arrived early and we were able to leave our luggage there with no problem. I injured myself and they were genuinely concerned and extremely helpful.
