"The amenities, as well as the high-level of cleanliness at the Clubhouse was very comforting but what truly made our stay special was Simon and his family, who own and run this establishment. We arrived fairly late after check-in time, but Simon, and one of his children met us, walked us to the room, and made sure that we were at ease while also recommending a good spot that was close for us to grab dinner, even though it was late. They know every part of the town and go out of their way to make their guests feel extra special, and it did not go unnoticed. I witnessed them in the mornings, making their way around to each table to make sure that the guests were well taken care of and have a friendly chat. We are eager to return and stay there the next time we visit Scotland again from the United States."

"Nice house in good location. However, for the price, lacked basic amenities. For example, no milk for coffee, or tea. No shower soap and shampoo. Shower was fine, but lack decent water pressure, took a while to rinse off. Bathroom sink was blocked, they must have been aware, because the plug mechanism was left out on the side of the sink. Wifi was intermittent, weak signal and cut out often Overall could be a great place if the attention to detail was in place."
