"I would recommend the castle hotel to everyone. Lovely hotel, great location and the staff were so friendly and helpful. On arrival to the hotel, I went to check in, and found I’d booked the wrong date, I was a week early. Expedia did nothing whatsoever to help me, apart from try to charge me the same price of the room again, to change my booking, even though I spend £1000s through them every year. "This is a uniquely beautiful hotel. The staff, rooms and restaurants are all fantastic. We only had one issue and that was the water never got hot in Bath or shower room, it was only tepid warm- but we put that down to age of the building and amount of rooms probably using facilities at the same time. It did not dampen our stay and as forgot to mention it to reception they didn’t have the ability to fix the problem. I would definitly recommend this hotel. "

"The building is beautiful, filled with history. I booked a superior for the bath in the room. I was given a pleasant room in what I think is the original medieval part of the building but the bath was through a cool 'corridor' in the room. However, I spoke to the very assistive staff and they suggested a different room which I was absolutely delighted with! "I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The breakfast was remarkable - so much choice and they even poached eggs for me instead of the standard scrabled eggs. Great, friendly and prompt service. In the room, the the coffe and tea offerings were also so much better than what I have been given at other hotels. Location was fabulous - easy access to Windsor town centre plus able to close access to the Long Walk for a bracing walk after Christmas festivities. Felt very safe area."
