"A unique experience with nice friendly staff and an excellent restaurant. We had a fabulous evening dinner, preceded by drinks in the impressive drawing room in the heart of the castle. A very relaxing place to spend a couple of nights. With lovely grounds and a good variety of birdlife. (Plus the resident Peacocks!)"

"Room was fine, tea and coffee wasn't very nice and no complementary biscuits. No magnifying mirror in the bathroom. States Brompton however 8 miles away. Bed was really uncomfortable. Evening meal was nice, 10% surcharge on you bill! Wine expenses! Breakfast was so so. Waited a long time for someone to come to the checkin fest on arrival and departure. Probably would try an alternative hotel "
