Rustic Lodge Plitvice

"The lodge is a few kilometers from the park but the road is not pedestrian friendly ( literally no shoulder so walking is risking your life since it's a busy road and speed is 80kph) so you need to take a taxi (15-20 Euros depending on the entrance you are going to). Also the lodge is right beside the road so ask for a room facing away from it. Also the pillows are very puffy so we used the flatter decorative ones. Awesome hamburgers."

"Breakfast was great! Lots of food. Ate dinner at the restaurant there - very good. Bought tickets to the park at the hotel and the bus stop was right there. Staff drove us to a nearby restaurant the second night. Free parking. It was a pleasant experience. The hiking at the park was beautiful. Did both upper & lower lakes."

"Beaaauutiful stay, clean and rustic, sooo charming and cozy, the shower was really pretty and beds very clean very comfortable, the breakfast was cute and delicious. Very close to restaurants and the national park lake, the breakfast made from local food it was very delicious very cozy. Mom and I loved staying here, we had a really good rest after a whole day at the park."

"The lodge was adorable! A nice size room and very cute. The eating area had a sunroom and the host made a wonderful breakfast for $10 euro each. The hosts were very nice. Very close to Plitvice Park. And Cascada Restaurant is nearby and that was a fantastic restaurant! Also the price of the lodge was fantastic, We highly recommend this place!"

"This is a real find! Tesla’s Gastro House is an endearing inn run by the charming Vishna and her equally charming son, Philip. The inn is set in a bucolic setting off the main road offering beautiful views and tranquility. The hot tub and sauna were a welcome relief after a day of hiking. The homemade dinner and breakfast were incredibly delicious and the servings were very generous. Our bedroom and bathroom were comfortable and clean."
