The hotel is very well located on the outskirts of Catanzaro; it's on abusy street, but the windows keep out traffic noise effectively. The hotel restaurant offers a small but very good menu. We had some car trouble and the hotel staff were incredibly helpful in taking of it. Highly recommended.

Un albergo datato con organizzazione meno che mediocre. Una stanza freddina che ha imposto l'uso di una coperta pesante e vecchiotta. Dulcis in fundo la colazione. Alle 9.20 non era rimasto granché, nessun cornetto, pancarre senza prosciutto e formaggio, niente nutella, sala da sparecchiare, una cioccolata che non é arrivata mai!

Ho pernottato per 3 notti in albergo, il personale non è all'altezza per stare a contatto con la clientela, ho parcheggiato un giorno vicino al cancello dell'albergo informando il personale del fatto, ricevendo un ammonimento per niente giustificato. Il servizio bar della colazione non dà il servizio al tavolo, inoltre tutto il personale è maschile, ci vorrebbe almeno una donna.

If you find yourself in Catanzaro....

This hotel was just fine. The front desk people were very gracious and helpful and spoke English well. As did the waiter in the restaurant. They are all to be commended. There was a nice breakfast set up in the morning and they, knowing I was American, had asked in advance if I would like eggs, which I was delighted to see in the morning when I came down to breakfast.

close to public buses

you can catch a once an hour train from the catanzaro train station. be careful on weekends, though, as they run more infrequently. bus stops right in front of the hotel. bus to city center goes from across the street, and there is a supermarket right around the corner. very accommodating staff. they will provide complimentary shuttle service from either the catanzaro or catanzaro lido stations if you inquire, and if there is a driver available. no guarantee, though.

Senza lodi e senza infamie

Stanza ok, pulizia nella norma, personale abbastanza cortese. Colazione scadente, buffet molto ridotto, pochissima scelta, cappuccino scadente. Per me comunque è andato bene per la collocazione.
