"The Club House was centrally located and walkable to any destination in the Medevil section of the city. The staff was professional, polite and personable.
The breakfast was plentiful, with a continental buffet as well as your choice of cooked breakfast items. "
"This is the prettiest hotel I have ever stayed in. There is restaurant/bar attached, so good. I think there is a buffet before 3 pm especially on the weekends. So much food. Breakfast, continental every day, some days full. Always delicious. Its hosts so many functions. It seems like there is always a wedding there."
"The staff were very welcoming. Being an older Hotel without elevators, the staff helped us with our luggage. Great location with lots of nearby restaurants, pubs, and shops. They recommended a nearby pub which we thoroughly enjoyed. "
"Die Lage ist super - zu Fuss konnten wir die Stadt innert wenigen Minuten erreichen. Parkplätze gab es genügend und man konnte auch gut hinfahren. Die Atmosphäre im Restaurant war sehr gemütlich „irish“. Frühstück war ausgezeichnet."

"Loved our stay here. Hotel is much bigger than what meets the eye from the street (so they were able to accommodate our request for 2 separate beds. I think we essentially got a free upgrade). It's in a good central location, with everything within walking distance.

Book a guided tour of Kilkenny Castle if you can. You get too see amazing parts that are not available during self-guided visits.
Have dinner/drinks/listen to live music at Kyteler's Inn. It's a 700 year old...
"We had a lovely one night stay recently for a wedding we were attending in the rivercourt hotel, it was amazing value for money. The man dealing with us on check in was so so kind and chatty, we had arranged early check in prior to our stay and this was absolutely no problem which was great. The rooms were spacious and the beds were so comfortable. Such a great stay we will definitely be back again. Denise & James. "
"It was amazing dinner and breakfast and we are enjoying at talbot Carlow hotel and there is swimming and sauna and hot deep box and bowling next door and foods shopping over road and shame as we have not got time to do at gym oh never mind and the manager and staff are helpful and friendly and thank you to them for hard work and bed help us comfort sleep and smile 👍😇thank you again "
