"Wonderful resort after spending the day on Mackinac Island. The free breakfast buffet was typical food. Room had an amazing beach view allowing one to sit on the balcony and enjoy beach view and ambiance without getting sandy. The hot tub was enjoyable, crowded at times. Water was hot and jets were intense. The free shuttle to Sheplers ferry was efficient and prompt. We ate dinner one night at Breakers and was disappointed. We had extremely long wait for mediocre food served warm but not hot. We...
"Stayed 2 nights with husband and 2 kids while visiting Mackinac Island. The hotel is an excellent location. While there is a free shuttle available to take you to one of the ferry docks, it is a quick 10 minute walk, so we walked there and back. There a few dining options and an ice cream shop nearby within walking distance as well, although most seem to close early in the evenings. The hotel is a collection of 4 hotel buildings (all named after the great lakes) and the Reception/pool building....
"Overall, it's a great find, on the beach, beautiful view, nice room with a hottub and nice king size bed. The property is rather old but well maintained and clean. My only slight complaint was a bit of noise, probably from the stairs over my room. But otherwise, excellent and very affordable "
"The renovations were beautiful. One suggestion would be that you upgrade the locks on the doors to a deadbolt type. The doorknob lock left us a little concerned, also daylight could be seen coming through from around the door. Regardless, not only would we look forward to staying again, but we would also wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone interested in visiting St Ignace."
"Clean rooms. Good breakfast. The laundry facilities were very clean and much appreciated! Three dollars for wash and three dollars to dry. I would definitely stay there again as it’s a great location and a very reasonable price for what you get. "
"Our stay here was perfect— 5 mins from the ferry to Mackinac, very clean and modern interior, and check in/out was quick and easy! This is a perfect place to stay, we didn’t mind it being on the smaller side as we spent most of our trip out and about. For the price you cannot beat this especially compared to other surrounding options! "
"This is and extraordinary property with so much to do. The staff is amazing and very attentive. The rooms are gorgeous and the grounds are immaculate, we can't wait to go back next year and stay on the island and at Stonecliffe. It was fun for the entire family and worth every penny. "
