This property was the most amazing spot out of 6 different hotels we stayed during our tour iof the southern part of Italy. Extremely clean, spacious, modern decor, unbelievable shower, clean and spacious bathroom, massive room, clean and soft bedding sets on a nice and perfectly firm mattress, and an amazing view of the ocean from the balcony. Most of all, a refreshingly bright room (when all lights are lit up). Pus, every staff, I mean, everyone including the front, was extremely courteous, polite, friendly with lots of smile, including the staff at the diner for breakfast (which was also incredibly amazing!). A nice garden and a pool to walk around in the back facing the ocean right in front. Don’t have enough words to best describe how truly and unbelievably amazing the stay was! Sincerely Thank you everyone there for making a part of my family tour so memorable for life!

Convenient location . Clean and very friendly and efficient staff . Great views from the right rooms . Ours was one of a few under the breakfast room which was noisy from 0730 when breakfast is served .. friendly pool bar. Would be good to lose the plastic sunbeds that spoil the pool area

The views from the pool were beautiful and the pool was great. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast had a lot to choose from and was delicious. It was an easy walk into the main part of town. No complaints, we would stay there again and will recommend it to friends.

We had a wonderful few days here. Infinity pool has an epic view on the coastline. You can also walk down to the ocean on a path if you’d prefer to swim there. Staff was very accommodating and even packed us a “breakfast to go” as we had an early flight before the buffet breakfast opened. Highly recommend!

Off the beaten path

It is a lovely place. Comfy bed and pillows. Hard to control the temperature in the room. Food is wonderful for breakfast. Jacuzzi.was closed and pool is not heated. Would be great in the summer.

The rooms are large and clean, beds are comfortable, the decor is wonderful beach style, the breakfast spread was incredible - but most of all - WHAT INCREDIBLE VIEWS! The seaview is highly recommended and worth the extra cost. The staff is super helpful and the parking is convenient. I can't think of one thing to improve the experience. THA NK YOU!

We stayed here on our first family holiday with our 6 month old baby. We hired a cot from the hotel which was perfect. The staff were all really lovely and the breakfast each morning was fabulous. The ladies that run the breakfast service are all really kind and made beautiful cakes! We had a triple room that was spacious with a small terrace. The rooms are well decorated and clean, there was plenty of wardrobe space for our clothes. The outdoor pool area was nice, we stayed in October so the bar wasn't open and the pool was a little cold but we enjoyed it anyway. The hotel is in a great location with plenty of restaurants in walking distance. We hired a car and went to other towns most days to see more of Sicily. I would highly recommend this hotel.

We were delighted with our choice of Marina Di Petrolo. The hotel is bright, smart and very clean. Our family room for my wife, daughter and I was a very good size, nicely decorated and smart. The staff were so nice and friendly at all times, and were always willing to help. We were grateful for the wonderful room cleaning staff who tidied and cleaned our rooms every day. There was an excellent Italian breakfast option every day, including freshly-made coffee of your choice. The location is not completely central but all the main areas of the town are easily accessible by foot, which is better to do anyway! Nevertheless there's a spectacular view of the bay from both the breakfast room and our own room. We didn't use the swimming pool because it was winter, but it looked nice. It would have been nice to have had the option to have meals other than breakfast, but it wasn't difficult to find other places around town (including a terrific pizza delivery place directly opposite!). We would love to come back to Sicily and if we are in this part of the island, Marina di Petrolo will be a definite place to revisit.
