"This was our second stay at the Royal hotel, our first was just an overnight stay, and we liked Nimes so much we wanted longer and couldn't imagine a better hotel. This time it totally lived up to expectations. It is amazingly convenient for the centre of historic Nimes, opposite the Maison Carre! Location fantastic - not in the tourist area, but still in the old section and only 5 min walk to all the action, plus a fab patisserie and a mini-supermarket around the corner. Staff were amazing - stored our bikes safely, and couldn't do enough for us.
