"The Hotel was in an excellent location. The free amenities were a plus. It was very clean and the staff was extremely helpful and even got us a last minute reservation for dinner. The only negative I would give is the smallness of the room, but I think that is typical of European countries in general. "

They were extremely helpful in regards to information about the area. Loved their terrace area. Overall, very happy with the experience. "The hotel is located in the Bairro Alto district. It is a picturesque and vibrant neighborhood, easy walking distance to the central shopping district, but much less crowded. The hotel is set in a beautifully renovated 19th century building. The service is wonderful; the staff is professional, but very warm and helpful. This is now my hotel of choice in Lisbon. "

"We stayed in a standard Twin Room and the room was large enough for 2 people. The mini bar was free and was refilled everyday which was a great touch by the hotel. View from the room was not the best and just overlooked the narrow street the hotel was located in. The hotel is situated in the uphill section of Lisbon, with the main sites located downhill from the hotel. The breakfast area had a lovely view of Lisbon and there were sections where you could sit, that acted like a private area....
