Cape Town Travel

Courteous, professional, helpful, and accommodating staff in reception, housekeeping, security, and food service departments. Had a great two-week stay. Foreshore is an excellent location.

Great Experience!

I really enjoyed my stay at this beautiful hotel! The bed was very comfortable and the staff were very nice and I really enjoyed the views from the hotel. Also breakfast was very good.

Good hotel with friendly staff in central Cape Town. Area around hotel emptied at night time with limited facilities around so location was more designed for business than leisure traffic

The room was okay for 2 persons. We found the room was clean. Although, we did not spend much time except sleeping, we enjoyed the breakfast. The out side patio was nice and cozy.

Good Job

Small but neat, functional and clean. I did not eat in the hotel but there are several decent restaurants in walking distance. In all I would stay there again and recommend it.

Excellent bang for your buck

The service was outstanding. The place is simple, appropriate for price, and perfect for short business trip. Food was great, coffee, great price. Clean. Best part was front desk crew and service. Would stay again. No it doesn’t have amenities of 5 start hotel, but perfect for an affordable place to stay.

We enjoyed the stay. Staff was very friendly. I would say there must be more place to hang a long dress and put in every room a small fridge. Parking was expensive R280 for two nights. I think the hotel can give you a card to park for free.

Friendly staff and a clean, comfortable room, that's what I liked. The surrounding area is fine during daylight hours on workdays. Fortunately, there's a decent restaurant on-site, so I took my dinners there. I also had the daily buffet breakfast since it was reasonably priced and had modest selection that met my needs.

A high level of professionalism from the minute I pulled up to the hotel and met the doorman, to the front desk, all the way through housekeeping. The room was exceptionally clean with adequate supplies. Friendliness and helpfulness of the front desk, restaurant staff. I enjoyed my stay and hope to come back !

In need of a refresh

When I booked in system was offline and that was the Q for what was to come. Stayed on the 9th floor 2 lifts service 10 floors with one lift out for the duration of the stay. Front office staff, including bar and restaurant not very eager to serve. In the end decided to eat elsewhere for the duration of my stay. Area outside of the hotel also worse (vagrants/ beggars) harass you after sundown. A clear decline evident in hotel and immediate surroundings since my last stay.

The hotel was clean, and the service was average. Despite what was supposed to be a discounted price, it did not feel like there was value-for-money. In fact, it seemed a bit overpriced. I needed to leave earlier than scheduled but the management was not amenable to refunding me for the day I needed to leave earlier.

Unsafe area

From the moment I found parking out on the street I was made to feel unsafe. There were beggars knocking on the car window asking for money and food. At the entrance of the hotel the same thing. The area alone is down town and not safe to walk around. When entering the hotel there was an atmosphere of nobody cares!!! I asked about the parking that was “available” and was told there is a parking around the back which doesn’t belong to the hotel but we can park there at a cost. Firstly I’ve a rented car and secondly I wouldn’t park the car there as not sure if it will be there in the morning. Anyways I took the knock and drove off and found a far better hotel where I was at ease knowing I was safe and also could walk around and not having to watch my back every 2 minutes. I contacted the hotel and explained how I felt about the whole experience and wanted to see if I could get a partial refund. Answer was NO!!! I’ll put this down to experience and in the future I’ll do more research before booking hotels.

I had a wonderful stay! :) I was most impressed with the breakfast options each day. The room was clean and comfortable. The only challenge so-to-speak was parking as parking is limited and there is a daily cost. Overall, wonderdul stay!

Faltou um frigobar nos quartos. Único senão a meu ver. De resto, o hotel alia simplicidade elegante a um atendimento de qualidade superior, com funcionários atenciosos, eficientes e solícitos. Destaque para o Annis (não sei se está correta a grafia) e para a Thuller, ambos da recepção. Ajudaram muito pra fazer nossa curta estadia render o máximo em satisfação e aproveitamento.
