"This place is a short drive to the beach. Worth it because it was a lot less expensive than hotels "on" the beach. The hotels "on" the beach are really not on the beach. True you don't need a car to get to the beach when staying in these hotels. You just cross the main road. But it's not like the property sits on the beach itself like in other places, Myrtle Beach, for example. And the Beach Club on Madison Avenue has a sister hotel that is on that main road.
