"Our room at the Homewood Suites Cape Canaveral Hotel was spacious, clean, almost a full size kitchen with dishes, utensils and just about everything you will need. The lighting was good with ample outlets and charging ports. Cruise ship shuttle service is available for an additional fee. The location was perfect for our two nights pre-cruise stay. The complimentary breakfast was good enough. Although we didn’t swim in the pool, it looked clean and well maintained. Both nights we ate our dinner along the poolside with our wine and beer. We were extremely lucky to having seen a rocket launch from the poolside while we were having dinner. It was a first for us.
Being on airplanes and in airports for nearly 18 hours, we were lucky to have gotten early check in after paying $40 for the early check in fee. Normally, we would hear, sorry, we are fully booked right now and we will not have any rooms available until our normal check in time. At the Homewood we were treated differently and we are very satisfied.
I have only one suggestion for the hotel management. Instead of having a basketball court that no body uses, at least while we were there, turn it into a pickleball court and I know you will see some action.
