"Absolutely beautiful Masseria and vineyards. Giuseppe (the owner) was so welcoming from the beginning as were all the other staff. The rooms are spacious and luxurious. We would definitely recommend the wine tasting - delicious wine and very interesting history of the vineyard. Dinner at the Masseria was a set menu - amazing food and amazing value. Relaxing by the pool is idyllic with wine from the vineyard. Overall faultless and would highly recommend !"

"Absolute surprise: the property dates back to 1800 and has been remade anew. The photos do not say the INCREIBLE AND AMAZING THAT IT IS! It's like sleeping in a castle. Walking just 1 block, the center is beautiful and full of places to come. "We needed a relaxing base hotel to stay in for the first five days in Puglia and Masseria Messapia was the perfect place. "From the moment we parked the car in secured lock up garage the experience was amazing. We felt like we had stepped back in time to the old days when service meant everything. The Guy on reception (unfortunately I didn’t get his name) had a great sense of humour and could speak English. I apologise but we didn’t speak Italian. Car parking very easy and secure. Lots of bars and restaurants in walking distance as was the shore. An excellent stay and would definitely return. "
