"We came for 3 days, stayed 5, should have stayed for 7. Giuseppe and his family, took great care of anything we needed. Unfortunately for us, they were booked for our last 2 nights so stayed in another 4 star. What We gave up for being in the centre, was too much. Next time We will return to Aether. The 7 minute walk to the center is worth it. Our breakfast was good Italian typical. Most important, was the AC was as cold as you wanted. Rooms were spacious, clean, and modern. Our room with a great view of the sea. My only fear is that next time we want to come , they will be sold out or above my price range. We will definitely return, with our grandchildren one day. Grazie Mille"

"Dominic, the front desk night staff was absolutely amazing. Help me through this trip. Along with helping me get a cab transfer from Lameria airport to the hotel late at night. He spoke very good English and Italian, which was very helpful on my side. We arrived late and he had made arrangements for sandwiches in our refrigerator which most Hotels will not do that. The daytime front desk was great too. Giovanni, the breakfast server was amazing. On another note, breakfast was great, the Cook does amazing job on the pastries and sandwiches, etc.. but when it comes to cooking eggs, that’s a different story. If you want eggs over easy, you’re not gonna get them, over hard and scramble is her specialty, still good. Personally, I think she was pissed off at me as my eggs were chopped up after the first time I ask nicely for over easy. This will never be acceptable the serving chopped up eggs, in any other place She always looks miserable, Beautiful new hotel. I highly recommend this place as it walking distance to the main Tropea Centro and parking at the hotel is free. Big bonus"

"This hotel is more like an Air B&B in that it doesn’t open at all until 3pm for check in - totally closed between 10:30am & 3pm unless you are already checked in with a key card. As long as you’re ready for a less hands on hospitality experience you will enjoy your stay - great location, large clean rooms, nice shower/bath options. A true family business. You can’t drive to the hotel as it is in a pedestrian plaza and you can’t drop off luggage before check in if you arrive early. The piazza is a long walk up the cliff from the beach, so be prepared to walk in Tropea. The breakfast ticket is for a light Italian breakfast, not a big American breakfast which was fine for me but made my husband grumpy."
