The food at the hotel was great and the drinks especially the liminoda and cafe con leche were soooo delicious! All the staff were very nice and helpful. "Nice and new property. Welcome drink was so refreshing! Staff was very attentive and a lot of them spoke english so that was helpful because i know minimal spanish. Breakfast was good a lot of variety. Lunch at restaurant was good, well seasoned fresh. Great location. Bed was a bit too firm but nothing to take away from the great experience I had there. Will stay here every time i visit."

The concierge staff reached out to us in advance offering assistance and were able to arrange two accommodations we wanted even before we checked in. They remained that helpful during our entire stay. The property and rooms are beautiful. The restaurant and bar are amazing and every staff member was friendly and helpful. The location is excellent and walking distance to everything inside the Walled City. We enjoyed every second of our stay there."

"If you are visiting Cartagena, you must stay at the Sofitel Santa Clara. The property itself is visually stunning, packed with fascinating history, and perfectly located. Our room was elegant, exceptionally clean, and featured a beautiful balcony overlooking the historic pool area. The breakfast buffet is hands down the best in Colombia, offering a massive spread of fresh tropical fruits, local pastries, and flawless service. What truly sets this hotel apart, however, is the staff—the butler and concierge teams went completely above and beyond to curate local itineraries and handle every request with grace. Highest recommendation! Pedro in the reception area, Luis Carlos at the Restaurant went above and beyond and everybody at the hotel made our stay so perfect, we always like to comeback to Santa Clara every time we go to Cartagena!!"
