"Our stay at Casa Mar was such a great experience. The staff really took care of us and couldn't have asked for a better time there. We really appreciated that its located in a beautiful quite cove away from Paraty, but close enough (10-15 min) drive to the town for dinner and exploring.
We would highly recommend it."

"O hotel em si é simplesmente incrível. A paz que o lugar transmite. É uma completa desintoxicação do estresse e loucura da cidade grande, bem como alimentar. A alimentação é saborosa e natural. Os quartos são confortáveis e bem limpos, o chuveiro é muito bem também. A area da piscina é uma delícia e o bar oferece um serviço acolhedor, é excelente. O staff como todo é maravilhso. "If i could give 100 star i would. EVERYTHING was perfect about this hotel. The location, the staff, breakfast, even famous people such as Maria Bethania, Petra Gil, Vanessa da Mata, The prince, other artists and actors have stayed at this hotel. Very peaceful. Special shoutout to Felipe who helped us from day 1, Alessandra, Kauan, Giovanni and one lady that cleaned our room, gave us back things we forgot like a watch, she was genuine enough to let us know we have forgotten things in the room :)...

"We absolutely loved this guesthouse! We stayed there for 5 nights in May and it was lovely! The location is great - in a quiet neighborhood just a few blocks away from the historical district (an easy walk and we felt safe walking at night). The room was comfortable and clean and the breakfast buffet was delicious!! We loved the warm cake served every afternoon at 5pm - what a treat! The staff were friendly and helpful. The pool was refreshing. Look no further and book this adorable...

"The room we got was not as expected. Very dark and noisy from excessive air conditioner units outside kitchenette window. They were very stingy with towels—one bath towel for each person . No hand towels or wash cloths. The best thing was the restaurant kitchen. Very good food here! Great breakfast and dinners!"

"The staff was very attentive and courteous. The property is very well maintained and the vegetation is magnificent. There is a huge focus on environmental conservation. The hotel is located in the heart of the old town within walking minutes of all the restaurants, boutiques, the port and other places of interest. During our stay the restaurant was closed for renovation and some other repair activities was ongoing. The noise was at time bothersome."

"Probably one of the nicest pousadas I have stayed at in Brazil. The property is perfectly located in the center of the city historic district. The staff is amazingly friendly and helpful - even texting information such as times for massages. The room we stayed in was huge, clean, and exceptionally maintained - the shower was unbelievable! The pool and bar area extremely nice and relaxing. Breakfast was amazing - fresh and had offerings such as rabanada and bolinha da chuva which I have not...
