"Room was spacious, clean and we had everything we needed. Staff were friendly, very easy check in. The only critique I’d give is the Bed wasn’t very comfortable. "

"I have stayed at the Feathers several times and find it to be very comfortable with nice and friendly staff. The only downside is that sometimes the bed doesn’t get made although I have advised the staff and hopefully this will be addressed. Also the free wifi isn’t satisfactory as it drops all the time. All in all, I would still be very happy to stay there again in the future. A big plus is the pub which serves great food. "

"I stayed at the Woolpack for a long weekend and couldn’t have asked for a better or ore friendly place to stay! The rooms was immaculate and had everything you could want or need, the breakfast hamper is such a nice touch and already included in the price. The staff all made me feel so welcome, a good funny bunch that went above and beyond. The atmosphere was even better with the live band in the bar Saturday night, having a good dance to some real music. Would 100% stay again! "

"This is an old building and has some limitations on what it can do to improve. Rooms and corridors are in need of a refurb. Shower cubicle was tiny. Staff were good and the check in person on reception was very friendly and knowledgeable. Public areas nice and in a good location."

"The swan is a lovely historic hotel, service and food were both very good , all staff were really helpful and attentive, we had to leave early but this is in no way a reflection of our stay , we had a lovely time while we were there "
