"The property is beautiful and very well maintained. The lounge was fun and inviting and we enjoyed the live music. The service was excellent and food was delicious. The only thing that I had a complaint about was that the charging station for our car was taken for hours by the same cars and they were parked over their lane and so the 3rd one wasn’t accessible and the reception staff said there was nothing they could do about it. They couldn’t contact the owners of the vehicles to let them know that others would like to use it or park correctly so that they were all accessible. Besides that our stay was wonderful and we would highly recommend and will be back."

"While driving up the PCH, my husband and I decided to take a bit more time and needed a place to spend the night. We chose the Fogcatcher Inn based on the reviews and were glad we did. They messaged us with additional information immediately after I made the reservation, so I was impressed with the communication. Upon arrival, check-in was quick and easy. The room was spacious and exceptionally clean. The bed and pillows were both very comfortable. We opened the windows and slept to the sound of the Pacific and enjoyed the cool air. We absolutely loved our stay and would have gladly stayed longer had our plans allowed."

"Room was great, location is excellent. Only (big) disappointment was the tiny selection of packaged items for breakfast - hardly worth the bother. We sat outside the lobby (where coffee and "breakfast" were set on a small table) and watched many guests come and quickly go, obviously sharing our disappointment. This cast a shadow on an otherwise very pleasant stay."

"We stayed at this motel for one night and found it to be okay for a short visit, especially if you are planning to explore Big Sur. The room was fairly basic. I also preferred to use my own blanket and towel for comfort. It was a bit noisy at times, but overall it was acceptable for a quick overnight stay given the convenient location."

"A great stop along Highway 1. It was comfortable, clean and near the ocean. I was surprised at how quiet it was from the road on Highway 1. The walls were a little thin and some chatty old couple could be heard fairly clearly next door (I almost chimed into the conversation at one point). Not a dealbreaker but something to expect if it's a busy motel."
