"This is easily the best hotel in Rye, and, in my opinion, one of the best I have had the pleasure of staying at. Like many hotels the food was excellent, the service was excellent the rooms are beautifully decorated and the simple things like having a decent shower or bar are so well catered for. What sets this apart is the vibe of the place, you can feel the history, You can feel the culture that has been created in the team, who really understand customer service. "Good location in Rye and we managed to utilise the hotel parking. However, the building and the bedrooms need some money spent on them, for general maintenance and updating (and fixing the rooms). The single staff member we saw was great but wouldn't hurt for them to have extra help in peak check-in and breakfast times."

Didn’t seem to know so I had to ask item by item… toast? Breakfast meats? Beans?"

"The description says 'secure, on-site parking'. This is a lie. When asking the caretaker of the property, she looked confused, said there is no parking included, but that we could park on the street if we could find a bay. There is a multi-story that you can pay to park in a short walk away. So don't expect secure on site parking. Otherwise, standard issue guest house - thin walls, thin mattresses and run down, but clean and cheap. The code to get back in didnt work which was a pain. The...

"I was disappointed with this stay. For the amount of money it cost, the caravan was not clean, was overcrowded and needs a lot of smarting up. You had to pay extra to have bedding which I think is unreasonable, particularly how much it cost per night anyway. Communication with the host was fine but not great. Unfortunately I won’t be recommending or returning to this property. "
