"Front office needs new staff who know how to interact with the public. When speaking with the manager they were bypassing the fact that their employee should not be escalating a situation by responding with smart remarks and belittling their guest. This made the experience very difficult to like this place. Smirking and shaking your head and huffing your breath and over talking and raising your voice while a guest is trying to explain a situation should not be a person at the front desk and...

"Great location and I slept so well that I almost missed the check out time. Very comfy bed"

"Comfortable & quiet. Nice staff. My go-to in the city."

"no quedé muy satisfecha por el echo de que la primera habitación que me dieron la tina del baño no estaba limpia, tenía tierra, me dieron una segunda habitación que si estaba más limpia pero igual en la tina del baño había una barra de jabón (usada) preferí pensar que si lo limpiaron pero se les olvidó retirarla ya que estaba en la parte de arriba, luego pedí servicio a mi habitación y nunca fue limpiado estuve 4 días 3 noches, la housekeeping me preguntó y dijo que regresaría y no regreso,...

"I travel for business and the Vagabond Motel is one of the better places I stay. It’s clean and quiet and well managed."

"Well, the sign to the hotel is pretty much hidden, until you pass the hotel. Also, the door jam into room 131, was coming apart at the bottom. Also the faucet in the bathroom was dripping and we tightened it as best as we could. Also, the ice machine is wonderful, but there’s no scoop to get some ice out. It will be really good when they have their breakfast service."

"Taylor was very helpful with my husband, who is handicapped."

"Staff was friendly. It smelled and looked brand-new. My room was spacious and clean. Convenient location. I will definitely stay here again in the future."

"Good security around hotel. Hotel is next to a small park. Very clean grounds. Room was recently renovated. Very clean. Great bed per usual for Hampton brand. Great breakfasts spread. All around great stay for work activities."

"Clean property Nice employee Breakfast was a plus Rooms nice w/kitchen Golf course view from some rooms Location to santa barbara and solving was good for us"

"Do not book at this location. Bed had a major dip in the center. Door was crooked and I could hear the outside noises (our room was also facing the free way) completely while the door was shut and we were inside. There was an extra tissue box in the bathroom that was attached to the shelf so there was some weird residue on the shelves beneath the sink in the bathroom. Oh AND it smelled like that old faint cigarette smell that is permanently stuck in the walls. This place is trash and WAY too...

"Breakfast was mediocre, husband’s waffle not okay. He said there was something like lumps of brown sugar cooked into the batter. Hard to regulate the air temperature in the room. The queen bed seemed small, like a full. Nice and quiet location though. $11.00 for two KitKat candy bars is a bit steep."

"The room was clean and the kitchen was well stocked. The staff was also helpful when we needed additional towels. Our only concern was the elevator felt very shaky and was far from the front entrance."
