The property is what it is, a reasonably priced serviced apartment close to Holloways Beach. Jan the manager is very helpful

Great little spot with a lovely pool close to the beach and local shops. Very friendly staff.

Little peice of charm

Fabulous location 1 block to beach, cafe and local places to eat out also. Apartment very basic but surrounded by lunsh bush and lovely pool area with BBQ facilities. About 5 minutes to sky rail and Smithfield shopping with everything you need. 10 minutes drive to cairns and to palm cove with great eateries.

Good comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen equipment, nice balcony . One three seat lounge could do with an armchair for four visitors.

Perfect for the airport

Great location to the airport. We stayed here one night. Jan was accomodating with our timeline of needing to leave quite early. Only suggestion would be that you request A/C be turned on an hour before revival as the room was qite warm.

Plenty of space and great amenities. We were on the ground floor with easy access to the pool (with shade cloth) and undercover car parking. Thorough communications with Jan and directions for out-of-office arrival. Main bedroom air-con was noisy but a wonderful venue for an overnight stay.

Pleasant location in Holloways Beach

Good location, well organised Manager, so getting access to our unit went smoothly. Location is good and pretty quiet, and for us it was good to be allocated a first-floor unit looking into the trees.

Spacious unit near beach

Unit 10 fabulous and comfortable queen bed in main bedroom - gel mattress. Unit needs some tlc and the microwave and kettle whilst functional require updating. All other appliances in good order. Lounge comfortable. Great pool, quiet location near the beach. Also some food places within walking distance. Undercover parking. Kitchen, lounge and dining area good space and found it was quite adequate for our 7 & 8 year old grandchildren. Spacious 2nd bedroom, plenty of storage. Quite a large complex with both residential and holiday units in a residential area -so quiet. Garden well cared for.

Spacious Unit

Pacific Sands is close to the beach and within walking distance to cafes. The unit was clean and spacious with laundry facilities and roomy wardrobes. The second bedroom does not have airconditioning which seems unusual in the tropics. There is only one bedside table in rhis room and the one reading lamp was on the top shelf of the wardrobe. The airconditioning unit in the main bedroom is noisy. We didn't need to use the kitchen so can't comment about it. The unit was value for money for three people.

Holloway’s Beach

excellent accommodation

I really enjoyed my stay here. It was very peaceful and I had a very private unit upstairs looking into the most beautiful palm trees and down onto the lovely swimming pool, which I swam in lots. The beds were very comfortable and kitchen and bathroom well-supplied with everything one could need. Only two small negatives: the tile floors were covered with a soapy, slippery residue which made it dangerous to walk on barefoot! (too much cleaning product?), and one of the venetian blinds was not working properly. It was lovely to be able to stroll along the pleasant treed streets to the beach, shops and cafes. Holloways Beach is not too touristy and pretty empty.... sad that I could not swim in the sea as it was a bit too rough. The manager of the unit was very approachable and pleasant. I will definitely return to this accommodation, which was also very reasonably priced for what it offered.

Was very close to the beach which was nice.

I would like to have black out curtains in the bedrooms, as I am a light sleeper and too much light came in from the outside.

Not bad for the money.

Apartment was good value and was a good size. I'd does however need some tlc. The washing machine and dryer were very handy. No free wifi but lets be honest, most places have average wifi anyway. On the negative side, the frying pans were both past it and there was the usual collection of mismatched plates and other dishes. We like to cook for ourselves a lot of the time so next we'll be bringing basic cooking equipment with us next rod trip. It's a shame but a lot of apartment owners just don't get it. Don't be so mean. Not a bad place to stay and the manager Jan is well organised and friendly too. Good pool. Barbecues were spotless.

Convenient to the airport for early departures

Apartment was spacious. Great swimming pool, and deep enough for adults. There were a few maintenance items that needed work - the air conditioner in our room was so loud it was unusable, and there were also a noticeable number of small ants in the front living area. This was the closest place we could find to the airport that wasn't in Cairns-proper, and it's a short 10 minute drive for those of you who have to catch the 5 am departures connecting to the States.

Great overnighter

Jane was very accommodation despite my very late arrival afterhours! Great service and it was nice to come into a clean room with all the amenities after a long day working in the Sun. Definitely stay there next time I am up in Cairns!!!
