"Terrible greeting staff at check in. Felt like we were bothering by checking in for our exciting anniversary vacation. Once we checked out, I asked about the AAA discount of 20% that we were told, when we checked out and I was told since I used Hotels.com there were not able to honor any discounts now. I explained that Hotels.com did not take my credit card payment the BAY Club charged my card at check in so why couldn't they honor the AAA discount? The manager next to the reg desk just repeated the check-in clerk. I explained that this is a customer service issue and you a reprehensive of the Hotel.com and our "experience" and had I known you were not going to honor the discount like I was told at check in I would understand. The Bay Club manager and check-in staff reputably blamed Hotels.com for not being able to honor the discount. Terrible reflection of Bay Club and Hotels.com based on our experience. Considering expressing concerns on yelp and other platforms unfortunately."

"Worst hotel we’ve ever stayed at. Our toddler twins feet were black after being in the hotel room for less than an hour. We found a 1-inch screw on the floor that they could have put in their mouth. It had fallen off the curtains (we think). In the suite, when you open the bedroom door it hits the wall and locks so our toddler ended up locking himself in that room. I called the front desk in a panic who brought a hotel key card to enter the suite rather than something for the locked door. Thankfully we got it open ourselves by using a random card but if we hadn’t we would have had to call the fire department. The staff was extremely clueless on the door situation. They said there is NO KEY TO OPEN IT! How many more toddlers could get locked in there? This hotel is a huge liability. They need to get it together. Very disappointed. "

"Definitely worth the price 2.5-3 stars. Breakfast was good saved us money here. It is an older hotel, but has some updates. Staff was very nice! Right across from the bay, we had standard room not the best view, but still was nice. We would stay again!"

"Location, location, location. This property is so well kept and the grounds are beautiful; awakened to the scent of the night blooming jasmine. The grounds surpass all expectations. Directly on the marina. Friday offered a Farmer's Market on the property and Saturday offered a Crab Boil. Love the activities. Housekeeping staff is always friendly and accommodating. My favorites are the front desk staff, Clinton and Alex. I have stayed her dozens of times over the past seven years and these two both stand out. Exceptional service, always recognize, greet and welcome me. It makes all the difference to me and my family."

"Pool area was small and a little run down. Rooms were good beds comfortable and the staff was great! My family had a great time even though the Jacuzzi was out of commission! Location was perfect valet parking was $70 per day, which is excessive for a guest to pay!!"

"We stayed in the North Tower and were given a recently renovated room. Unfortunately, I was unable to sleep all night due to a loud banging noise occurring every few minutes. We later realized it seemed to be coming from the air conditioning compressor or related system, which made a very loud banging sound each time before the fan shut off."
