"Robert was very helpful and friendly. The hot breakfast was outstanding and a welcome surprise during our travels. The common areas were well kept and the availability of coffee & tea was appreciated as a way to wind down after a long day."

"Cute, comfy and great location.
No breakfast available despite what Expedia says. So plan ahead and bring food, no place to eat in walking distance."

"The sheets were old and nubby. They should be replaced. Pub area seemed very worn and dingy. Not a welcoming environment."

"The hosts were very friendly and welcoming to our family of six. We rented the larger family suite and everyone was comfortable. The Lodge itself is unique and has great character. Bertie was great with our daughters and made them pancakes with sprinkles 😌. Both hosts were very helpful recommending restaurants and attractions in the area and answered any questions we had. Very personable and we felt right at home there for our 2 nights. Highly recommend!"

"It’s an older property but the room was clean with tea, coffee, tv and hair dryer provided.
Breakfast was lovely. Shower and toilets were shared but this wasn’t a problem. The shower was good enough although it could probably do with some ventilation.
All in all value for money when I was just showering, getting back late and sleeping then leaving again.
A very short walk from the station too."
