"This is a very convenient hotel to overnight on the way to the ferry ports to UK. It is about 100m from the E40 although there was no noise from the road. The room was large, very smart, air con and has tea and coffee facilities. The restaurant and bars were attractive but we took the opportunity of driving into Brugge. Check in staff were lovely. There is a local town with pubs and shops, and Brugge is just 8 Km away. The parking at -'t Zand Underground Garage is excellent plentiful, 5 mins...

"Pro: AC worked very well, bed was very comfortable. Room was spacious. Con: Towels didn’t smell fresh. Shower didn’t drain properly. Staff made us wait to ensure they got their money from Expedia which I thought was really weird. All attention at check out went there and they didn’t ask if we had enjoyed our stay."

"There was good place for kids to play and swim. But there was No air conditioner and feel damp inside room."

"Tout était parfait, chambre très grande et agréable. Petit déjeuner très diversifié et de qualité. Service de location de vélos pratique pour se rendre dans le centre ville de Gand en 20 mn avec des pistes cyclables le long de cours d'eau : très agréable. Le seul problème : toutes les bornes de recharge électrique étaient en panne !"

"Hotel is ideally located near main squares and other primary attractions. Meticulously clean interior within an older building with much of the original charm still present. Beds and linens were fantastic, and room was super quiet. We didn't do breakfast or restaurant on this stay, but we did enjoy their spacious and beautiful bar area that had multiple adjacent seating areas with tall ceilings and classical decor. Brenton was our bartender and he was excellent. Would come back to this place...

"I wasn’t happy that when I came back to the hotel from work my room wasn’t cleaned.. I wasn’t informed at the reception you had to place your card outside the door to let them know you need your room cleaned.. for me this is a hotel trying to deceive you into not cleaning your room"

"Staff was great. The hotel had the vibe of going back in time which was cool. The property is older and in need of some updating. Our sink and tub didn’t drain properly and some persistent sewer odor was bothersome. The economy room was very small for two people to maneuver in. Breakfast was ample. The location was great—a bit away from tourist areas which was nice."

"Wir, 2 Erwachsene, 2 Kinder (15 & 11) hatten eine Suite mit zwei Doppelbetten. Alles war sehr sauber, die Betten sind sehr bequem. Das Frühstück in sehr schönen Räumlichkeiten hat uns gut gefallen. Einzig meine Kontaktaufnahme vor unserem Aufenthalt zu den Parkmöglichkeiten hat nicht geklappt. Wir konnten aber einfach auf das Gelände fahren und die Parkgebühren bezahlen. Wenn wir wieder in Gent sind, kommen wir gerne wieder!"
