"We booked this hotel because of it's excellent reviews. The breakfast was exceptional. As vegetarians we are often limited in choice but we had a variety of options available all delicious. The room was large and the bathroom very modern and clean. However what stood out was how friendly and helpful the staff were. Nothing was too much trouble. They went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. "

"The hotel was lovely. It’s a really nice hotel, great location being in the centre of Lyndhurst but surprisingly ample parking too, behind the hotel. Staff were really helpful and attentive. Peter at the front desk and Danielle in the restaurant and bar stood out the most due to their friendliness and attentiveness. Our room was a little tired, could do with some general paint and decorating. Otherwise the bed was very comfortable, all very clean and a large room. Would definitely visit...

"Beautiful setting in a country house right in the village of Burley. Walk past green pastures,along the driveway and you are there. Sit on the front patio and watch the deer walk by, and eat right in front of you. Two comfortable lounges, and a Bar, really nice Dining Room. Full Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner menu's. "From check in to check out, the service provided was excellent. The staff were ever helpful and couldn’t do enough to ensure we had a pleasant stay. The food options ranged from exceptional restaurant to bar snacks, all of which were delicious. The ‘sports facilities’ were limited but more than adequate. Lovely walk around the estate. "To be honest I should have booked directly with Carey’s Manor. Probably my fault but I did not realise that I was booking only a room for my husband and I, no breakfast! "We had a wonderful 14 day stay in a 1-bedroom apartment on the top floor. The area around the Mansion is beautiful, walkable nature parks and fields. It is very quiet and secluded in a safe, clean area close to shopping and eateries. The restaurant at the mansion - Becketts was such a bonus to our stay.
