"no sour dough bread. beds were worn out. very small room for the money room was dark. expensive."

"Absolutely lovely oasis of tranquility in the New Forest. We took our small dog and everything was catered for from bowls and towels in the room to a washing station and poo bags. Staff were amazing, busy but always helpful and chatty. Food was top notch, as were the cocktails and a lovely breakfast. Can’t fault it, oh and there was air con in the room……. Thank god!"

Room furnished with freestanding pine double wardrobe accommodating full-sized ironing board, electric iron and hairdryer. space divided into 2, left side fore and aft clothes hanging rail (6 hangers),right side 3 shelves 2 drawers. The wardrobe double doors warped, difficult to open & close making loud squealing noise! the drawers were off their broken runners and operated...

"Super hotel, part of a chain we've used before. Great room a deluxe double, plenty of space and they do service the room each day unlike this new disgusting habit other hotels have started to save costs. Good dinner, bit pricey but otherwise good and very good breakfast at a reasonable price. Staff great , Amy a star at b'fast ; Eloise (?) a star behind the bar.
