"This property is in an absolutely beautiful setting. The rooms are very spacious and the beds were very comfortable. The bathooms are huge. We loved walking around the property and walked to the clubhouse just down the road and right on the water. The views were spectacular and the food was great. "Everything was clean. I loved my room. It’s not the most updated place in the world, but it had its own charm. It’s warm and inviting. The staff was great, and had good suggestions for tours. It’s kind of a pain not having anything nearby. No convenience stores or coffee shops. You have to take a train or Uber. I tried the connected restaurant twice and did not care for it. It’ll do though with nothing else around. Overall, it was a good value and I felt safe and comfortable"

"Nicely decorated hotel, although our room and some other areas were very tired and in need of some TLC. The staff were pleasant although weren't always able to help with our queries. The breakfast room (Braid Suite) was uncomfortably hot, we ended up propping the window open using a mug for some fresh air! The location was lovely and easy to get to and from the town centre. However not sure it was worth what we paid £200/night. "
