"Beautiful hotel - good location - by the beach - nice room - good spa"

"Represented very good value for money. Staff were very helpful and nice to deal with."

"The hotel was quite dated but rooms were clean and staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good."

"Excellent hotel, hence way I will always return. Perfect location right next to the beach, not to far from the town centre just a 10 minute walk and there is a few restaurants close by"

"When we arrived at the hotel we found the car park easy to find, then followed the signs for reception. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful, we were quickly checked in. Then directed to our room, which was very nice, warm and comfortable with a massive bed. It was all very clean and tidy. The only problem was at first we had no hot water but that was quickly rectified. We were soon settled in, then it was time to get some dinner, this was the only thing that we found disappointing...

"Listed as four star with two rosettes, should be rated maximum of two star. Breakfast was greasy. Lack of ambience. Bathroom stank of cigarette smoke. Cleaners took away the rubbish and changed the towels but did not make the bed. No lounge to sit and relax in. Website mentioned restaurant being refurbed. No sign of this happening. "Never really write reviews but maybe that goes some way to show how impressed I was. Staff feel as though they care about the place and in a world where customer service in hospitality is struggling it was so refreshing. Will definitely be back next time I have to stay in the area. Food was excellent for the price point."

"Staff always brilliant. Thanks again for an amazing stay"

"The Knoll House Hotel is a charming hotel which was once a personal residence. It has a lot of history and is in a delightful location overlooking the sea. There are several comfortable seating areas of various sizes and styles. The restaurant is very large and the food and service is very good. The breakfasts are particularly enjoyable with a plentiful range for self-service. The outdoor swimming pool was heated, despite it being October when we stayed there. There is also a small indoor pool...

"It was ok but very tired. Pool was tiny"

"Good location"

"Staff were friendly and very helpful, room was clean and the facilities in the room were good, breakfast options were good and the food was tasty. The gym and pool facilities were great with a wide variety of options for fitness. Overall would reccomend a stay here for sure."

"Great location. Close to bus stop. The staff was helpful and friendly. Breakfast was absolutely delicious."

"Terrible service "
