"My wife stayed with a friend for a weekend getaway. They enjoyed a pleasant breakfast out on the veranda. Very close to all the shops. Pool looked clean, but didn't use. Quaint hotel. Would definitely stay again."

"The TV was oddly placed couldn't really see it straight on from the bed or the "chair" provided. I had to use a pillow behind my back to sit comfortably and I'm 6 feet tall . Really? Who chose the furniture."

"Inside cabin was great. Exterior grounds needed a little love. Overgrown up to the a few feet of cabin. Cutting the overgrowth and trimming a bit into the woods would help the view and keep poison ivy away from the cabin Other than that, location to surrounding activities is great"

"We only stayed for one night but we had everything we needed. Super convenient with the restaurant/bar being right there. Plus, super cool they have activities set up for people. We would definitely stay again. You can tell this place has been around for a long time, but it has been redone recently. It was comfortable and the staff were al great!"

"Had a wonderful stay at The Iris Garden Downtown Cottages and Suites. We were travelling to see our daughter at IU but all of the rooms in Bloomington were either booked or super expensive due to it being Parents' Weekend. We looked for options outside of Bloomington and saw reviews for The Iris Garden Downtown Cottages and Suites and decided to book there and are very happy that we did. We arrived and were warmly greeted by the owners. Our suite was well-appointed and cleaned. Even though the lodging was packed, our room was nice and quiet. We also met some of the travelers at the firepit and had a great time talking with them. We had also never been to Nashville and loved it! So many cute shops and lots of places to eat and drink. We also took a great hike at Brown County State Park, which is just a couple of miles down the road. Also, it was an easy 25 minute drive to IU. We will definitely come back!"
