"I had a fantastic stay at The Bridges B&B. The hosts were wonderful, so friendly, which was lovely for someone, like me, travelling alone. The room was spotless with little touches such as different types of tea on offer and a chocolate treat on the bedside table. Breakfast was lovely too. It was a perfect location to explore the wonderful Northumberland area."

We enjoyed our meals in the bistro including breakfast in 3 mornings and an evening meal - the food was delicious and every attention to detail was given. We were very impressed with all aspects of our stay and will definitely book again when back in Northumbria!"

"This review considers the amazingly low price we paid (£40), compared to other availability in the area. We requested (and booked) a family room, on arrival, we were given two double rooms opposite each other. Not a problem for our 1 night stay, but it could have been. The rooms were warm and clean, and had been newly decorated, the bedding was clean and crisp. The breakfast was adequate, all self serve, tea, coffee, juices, cereals, packet meats and pastries. "Room was lovely everything well thought of , 2nd visit to Newton hall but 1st visit to the garden rooms , only downfall was central heating box in hallway so kept having to go out to turn it up toom didn’t get that warm but I guess it was -2 , and also kettle had to be put on floor to be plugged in to use it which wasn’t the best "

"The Dock was fabulous and exactly what I was hoping to achieve for a 1 night stay between my work days. I was gutted as I’d heard so much about the breakfast but I ended up being in such a rush so didn’t have time to have a full English but the lush lady behind the kitchen counter asked me if I wanted a sandwich making to take away. She made me a huge and the best tasting bacon sarnie with a latte to take away (proper fresh brewed coffee) she saved my bacon literally haha. As I didn’t eat again...
