"I stayed in a refurbished room which was decorated to a high standard and spotlessly clean. Check in / out was simple and quick. Sadly though, room was unbelievably hot - even with windows open and the provided fan. No shower - only a bath, which I didn't spot on booking. Made it tricky to wash hair, as bath doesn't have shower attachment or taps! "

"We needed an overnight bed and breakfast option after attending a wedding at nearby Farnham Castle. Dawyk Beech fitted the bill perfectly and was less expensive than an overnight at the castle. Our en suite room was a very generous size overlooking the lovely garden with a comfortable king bed.
We needed to check in before the official time of 4.30 to get changed for the wedding and wouldn't be back at the guesthouse until after midnight. I called ahead of our stay to confirm this was OK and...
"This is my second visit here, and I still find it excellent for shopping, dining, and walking. The rooms are a little bit challenging to access because the building is old, but it's worth the minor inconvenience. I hope to return soon."
"I arrived a few hours early, but my room was available immediately. A lovely room with modern bathroom. I was in the single, which served my needs very well. Well heated. No problem with noise. Very close to train station. Godalming is a beautiful town."
