"The main hotel is characterful and pleasant. I found my room in one of the newer blocks to be noisy, more so when a table tennis table was erected under my window. The spa was disappointing, particularly when compared to a MacDonald Spa I am a previous member of. The pool and steam room are shedding tiles in large patches, some lying loose in the bottom of the pool. The Spa had no hot water for showering which rather spoiled my spa day. All staff were pleasant and helpful."

"We were disappointed that the pictures advertising the Walton Hall Hotel & Spa were quite deceptive. The actual hotel is not at all connected to the historic Walton Hall, and the hotel wing and room that we experienced were very worn and in need of a renovation. The pool and fitness room were listed on Expedia as amenities, but these facilities are not owned by the hotel and require payment for use (after registering our complaint, we were given free passes). On the plus side, the beds were comfortable and the wifi worked."

"On entering room.. toilet lid off & stood next to toilet on the floor & bin in bedroom contained someone's pink false nails!! Obviously not clean or maintained. Reported to reception & had a standard reply of " I'll inform maintenance" doesn't really address the issues WE experienced did it!"
