"A great place to stay with it's welcoming bar, smart appearance, spacious and clean rooms. Comfy bed & nice breakfast. Not sure about the bottled water in the room instead of a glass, next to the eco-towels sign.. But a great stay, a real pleasure to have been there overlooking the old railway station. "Stayed for 2 nights for sabbath concert, check in pretty easy, room was nice, bed was comfy, thick pillows (maybe a little too thick but not an issue). Very close to bescot train station only a few min walk. We had food on first evening pizzas pricey but really nice. I ordered an 8inch, they ran out but rather than saying I couldn’t have it they sent out a 12inch for no extra charge which was good! Chips were horrible though. "Lovely friendly staff. Generally the facilities are good with the exception of the work area. The desk is fixed to the wall which is fine but it's very poor quality, in 2 of the 3 rooms that I've stayed in the desk is cracked and ready to break. "What a bargain £55 for our last minute one night stay, room was really clean, the area’s not the best but we didn’t need to venture out, had a couple of drinks downstairs in the bar and the staff were really friendly. "

"Comfortable room at very reasonable price including full breakfast, which was excellent. Convenient for city centre, cathedral and cricket (my reason for trip). "Lovely little guest house with the restaurant below it. The person at the checkout was welcoming and friendly, he brought my luggage up for me to my room which is really helpful because there's no lift, only stairs. Food was delicious (Asian-approved spiciness) and staff was nice. On the Sat evening when I was there , there had been a live band playing outside the restaurant area, they had a stage for live performances. Lovely atmosphere with good food and music. "Went to a regatta at Ironbridge. Travelling on my own I felt safe at the accommodation and it was a lovely stay. The food at the pub is amazing and all the staff so friendly and helpful. The room was very cute and had everything that I needed, including a small fridge that was a bonus as it was very hot and kept my water cool. Parking is next to the pub and had no issues. There was a fan in the room that kept the room cool overnight. Def recommend. "

"The Woden is always a " go to ' place for us guaranteed a comfortable stay. The rooms are impeccably clean. The room had great facilities. Towels shower gels tea & coffee even water in bottles. Plates cutlery and a fridge. Everything and more. The beds are so comfortable and the place is so quiet. "
