"Great location"

"Free parking, good breakfast. All good really."

"There are not many places to stay in Wimborne. This is probably the best. Don’t expect elevators or lots of modern conveniences here. This is a 16th century hotel with narrow staircases and our room had beamed ceilings and a copper bathtub. What is great is that it is right in the won center and has enough free and secure parking so you don’t need to use a public carpark."

"Overnight stay for family of 5, unfortunately we not allocated a both rooms together. We had a good nights rest anyway!"

Ideas for improvement- larger fridge, the fridge is tiny - other than the free water that is provided you can’t fit anything more in there. Robes would be nice as well as body lotion or hand cream in the bathroom."

"Nice welcome from Yas. Room was clean, comfortable and welcoming. A/C in room was much appreciated. Tea, coffee making facilities and welcome biscuits a nice touch. Staff friendly. Free parking is available on 1st come basis with 5 slots available, otherwise it's street parking nearby. Only downside of our allocated 1st floor room was being at front of property and road traffic noise wasn't great for sleeping. Good location for walking to town centre and local amenities."

"My stay at the Laguna Hotel was extremely disappointing. The hotel is outdated and badly in need of renovation. The beds were old and very uncomfortable, and the noise levels were unacceptable, making it almost impossible to get a proper night’s sleep. "Huge bathroom. No towel rail by the basins every time wash hands had to drip water to a rail 5 feet away. And incredibly No Shower. Huge bath with side taps but no facility to wash and rinse hair. Come on Greene King its 2026 not 1826."

"I has problem was TV room wasn't work & staff come to fix was helpful. We did have breakfast was not too bad should more vegeration like cracker, biscusit , sausages. Porridge was ok would be done more cook smooth & balance. Clean room was ok , I notice has not clean the table & bed sheet was not tidy. Big room was nice , really suit to people who have wheelchair access to disabled . It would be nice if all rooms should have fridge ."

"1 Star not 4, out dated, really bad smells from the room and corridors, like a run down old people home, staff on reception rude, check in and check out, really amazed that it says it’s 4 star. Worse than a episode of faulty towers."

"The staff were exceptionally helpful. The food was excellent. The Lodge itself where you stay needs some tlc on the outside, although the rooms themselves were good and well maintained, if a little dated. The stairs down to the room where I was weren't that great and the entrance to the steps was blocked by a car, so had to squeeze by. A great place. The golf looked good and the swimming pool was excellent although the stairs down were very slippery."

"It was very dated holes in carpets on stairs very old furniture really needs remoderlising didn't cope very well when really busy for breakfast a lot of people were getting very angry that food wasn't coming out in time"
