"We are local, but needed a place to stay while our house was having some work done. We were so excited to see The Overlook was open, and I'm even more excited that we booked! "Well, I enjoyed my whole stay. Our room was clean, all linens were clean, the room was perfect. My back was not doing well at all. When I approached the front desk I was huffing and puffing even with my cane. The gentleman that was at the front desk took my info. He was smiley and soft spoken. I asked where to go for dinner. "Pretty new hotel in excellent condition. I had a studio with a nice kitchen, sitting area, and king sized bed. Nice sized bathroom, with a walk in shower (with excellent water pressure.) Very quiet room.
The area has many shopping centers. My room looked on the back and side of a Target, and I think this added to the quiet at night.
Excellent front desk staff. Very good laundry room with 4 washers and 6 dryers. Each $2.50 in quarters, but front desk staff can give you change.
