"Huge room and breakfast was amazing, truely four star. Walking distance to the Barbican area. Our only issue was we were on the top floor and there was no lift. 50 steps from the back car park. I am sure they would put a lift in if the building was not heritage listed. If you have mobility problems make sure to ask for a room close to the ground. Overall very impressive and good value for money all fittings and fixtures were high quality."

"I mistakenly booked our room for Monday through Friday so I had to add Sunday night to our booking. Unbeknownst to me, I booked a different room. In lieu of dragging our luggage to a different room, we decided to stay where we were ( in the basement). That was a big mistake because we began to smell a strong odor of mold. Later on in the evening we had an issue trying to gain access to the room but the card key wouldn't work, we reported the issue and initially the card was recharged but after trying the recharged key card there was no luck gaining access.
