"We were there during the weekend when the town held a special event about mountain bike. Luckily, the hotel was out of the city centre, so the night was peaceful and quiet. The room was spacious. Only one particularly dislike was that from the bathroom window, the afternoon sun was so strong that we could have got sunburn sitting on the toilet. And there was no curtain on bathroom window. Well, it was a very unusually sunny that day. "

"Better lighting in walkway and stairs for the suites would be great. It was dark and a bit dangerous feeling, but otherwise, it was a great stay. "

"Receptionists on arrival and departure very obliging and helpful giving my wife and I an upgraded room as there was one available. All staff polite and made sure all was to our satisfaction. Dinner menu was such that there was a good choice, all reasonably priced and cooked / presented to a high standard. Likewise for breakfast. Good touring base and would recommend."

"This is such a cute property! Great value for the price and the location is very convenient. There is a ferry you can board for free right next to the bunkhouse to go across the loch and have dinner. Such a fun experience! The owner was also very friendly and welcoming. "

Colazione ottima inclusa nel presso sia quella continentale che la full Scottish breakfast. Parcheggio disponibile davanti o nelle vicinanze della struttura. Non abbiamo provato il ristorante dell’hotel."

"Nice wee hotel, right by the ferry. Plenty parking. Very peaceful, although some vehicles pass at an astonishing pace for what is actually a 20mph limit. The room was a reasonable size. As it was facing the Koch, there was a great view. The only downside was that the early morning ferries floodlight the hotel! Staff were friendly and accommodating - especially to our wee dog 🙂"

"It's outdated and the rooms are so far away from the lobby and the restaurant. Not suitable for elderly. "

"Atmospheric bar & restaurant, beautifully appointed room. Breakfast was incredible! I looked forward to my smoked salmon every morning. Husband had the vegetarian breakfast and said it was also excellent. I liked the system of selecting breakfast the night before. The town is super walkable with location next to the peaceful & romantic waterfalls. Outdoor tables packed with people gave it an energetic but casual hub-of-the-village vibe. Hallway carpeting (with old water stains?) and walls...

"This is a beautiful hotel overlooking the loch , it’s out of the way and very private. The food is fantastic, small menu but something for every taste. "
