I'm delighted to hear you enjoyed your visit. Being a rural property, try as we may, water delivery is not as consistent as may be found in cities, but we're constantly making improvements in all respects.

We're constantly looking to improve our facilities and delivery of services in what is a challenging market.

Winter in rural Margaret River can be challenging and I do understand that some from warmer climes may have difficulty adapting. Our staff are on hand to assist guests with fire lighting and most get to enjoy the experience and the warmth that they give off. The Superior 3 bedroom cottages have a bath in addition to showers. We do try very hard to please all of our guests and will continue to improve our services, but we can't change teh weather I'm afraid.

I'm not sure what's meant by "water heater" in this instance. We do have gas burners to heat water for showers and for the kitchen. And we supply firewood for the wood fire in living rooms.

Unfortunately, Friday was suffering from acute back problems and the veterinarian was called in regularly to administer cortisone injections. We like our animals to live out their lives on the farm however, on this occasion, we had to go along with the vet's recommendation that Friday be put down. You can rest assured that it was done without causing any pain.

Thank you for your comments. We have found the AC to be sufficient in the pats, however I will consider installing a small wood fire as well. Australians, generally, prefer to snuggle up under a doona and blankets, rather than artificially warming the bedroom.

Our standard 3 bedroom cottage has 1 separate toilet / WC. The 2 X Superior 3 bedroom cottages have 2 toilets.

Being a rural property, all water has to collected from rainfall, or trucked in. As a result, we can't accommodate washing machines in the cottages.
