"Had bed bugs left itching, unable to sleep properly, sash window was broken so couldn’t close it. Breakfast was over priced. Paid for a large single bedroom but was told only one size paid £250+ for two nights and breakfast, to see on the form it showed £58 per night won’t be booking again through Expedia complete rip off"

"Room very dated and smelt like an old people’s home. Couldn’t open the windows. However it was spotlessly clean and the bedding & towels good. The staff weren’t around on arrival & a cleaner tried to check me in. There was a wedding party so guess that might have been why but not great service. On check out a similar scenario- no one at reception & a man just said you’ll have to wait for receptionist to return. I had several messages from the hotel telling me I would need to pay for parking....

"I really loved my stay here. There was a friendly vibe, the rooms were comfortable and you could tell the place was loved and looked after. Nice breakfast too. I got a sleep score of 92!! I will recommend to friends and family visiting Bournemouth."

"What you’d expect from a Village hotel. Clean, convenient and busy. Food offerings were basic and fairly pricey, bar was busy and with plenty of sports shown on the array of TVs. Hotel is conveniently located between Bournemouth and Christchurch and has good capacity. Regrettably they have no secure bike storage and don’t permit them to be taken to rooms."

"Friendly old hotel. Staff good. Breakfast was good, but maybe some fried bread, ham & cheese, especially as it appeared to cater for older people like me! Cleaning of room was a bit hit & miss. Nice room though, although my friends was smaller & boiling, even though we had paid the same. Choice of pillows & a fridge with water would be good. Swam a couple of times in the small pool, but didnt use gym. Afraid the evening meals were not to our liking, but plenty of places elsewhere. Short walk...

"Welcoming was good The breakfast was really good , just needs more cleaning done around the hotel and rooms. some of the stuff was helpful and ok. This place have 2 swimming pools 1 inside and 1 outdoor . Sauna it’s a small room . But ok. A beautiful sea view ."
