"What you’d expect from a Village hotel. Clean, convenient and busy. Food offerings were basic and fairly pricey, bar was busy and with plenty of sports shown on the array of TVs. Hotel is conveniently located between Bournemouth and Christchurch and has good capacity. Regrettably they have no secure bike storage and don’t permit them to be taken to rooms."

"Liked the ability to leave my luggage. Good to have 11am check out time Could hear next doors TV so perhaps a sound control volume so guests cannot put it on so loud. Couple of issues no toilet paper which was resolved and same my shower was faulty but resilved"

"The hotel was rat old fashioned in that was still much of the original wooden staircase etc but it was clean and the bed was comfortable and the bathroom clean and well lit. The only downside of our one night stay was the fact that altogether it generated 23 emails either from Expedia itself or from the hotel which was tiresome."

"Very dirty room, not cleaned at all, luckily only stayed for 1 night, lots of building work going on, they started work at 8.30am. Hotel should close until ready to reopen. Avoid"

"Room very dated and smelt like an old people’s home. Couldn’t open the windows. However it was spotlessly clean and the bedding & towels good. The staff weren’t around on arrival & a cleaner tried to check me in. There was a wedding party so guess that might have been why but not great service. On check out a similar scenario- no one at reception & a man just said you’ll have to wait for receptionist to return. I had several messages from the hotel telling me I would need to pay for parking....
