"Booked for our 10th Anniversary and we were upgraded to the Oasis suite, and had the best time ever.
Buffet Breakfast was very good, the staff were friendly and greeted us every morning.
The lounge bar served bar snacks and meal from 12 till 8pm and we really decided that other than walking around Bournemouth gardens and some shopping we didn't leave the hotel all weekend
That in itself is testimony to how good our stay was."
"When you walk in to the reception it doesn’t look like a particularly nice hotel. It looks a bit old & dated
But when we got into our room we were really pleased. We had a room with a sofa & four poster bed overlooking the sea
Bonuses were
1. A fridge with a freezer section with ice cubes in
2. 2 tvs. One very large one in the bedroom area & a smaller one in front of the sofa
3. Biscuits - which you very rarely get now
The room was very nice
The things that weren’t quite so good
It had a coffee machine that you put pods in. I kept pressing the buttons but very little coffee came out so I gave up trying to fill the cup. There weren’t any instructions with it
The full English breakfast was good & they had warm croissants which I don’t think I’ve had in a hotel before. There was also cereal & yogurt. But there wasn’t any cheese, ham or fruit (which was fine by me but my wife would have liked)
The hotel is right opposite the BIC & only a couple of minutes walk to the seafront & pier. Very good location
Staff were all very friendly
They have a small car park but you can only park there if you have a disabled badge. You can park in the very run down car park right next door for £7 per day which is very cheap but you might wonder if your car is going to be safe there. Ours was fine
One major concern is that the fire exit in the downstairs restaurant had a big box & a high chair in front of it so if there was a fire that would make it difficult to get out."
"The room was very clean and spacious. The layout of the hotel is a bit odd, with us having to walk across the back parking lot to access the wing our room was in. The hotel itself is in a perfect location for the beach and pier, with one of the public lifts located right outside the front, which takes you down the cliff for a small fee. We did have one oddity, upon check-in our room wasn’t ready, so I took my 3 year old to the pool while we waited, but was told we weren’t allowed to access it until our room was ready… I have stayed at hotels all over the world and never heard of not being able to access the hotel amenities on the day of check-in. This was quite annoying. All in all it was a nice little getaway, just not as accommodating as other hotels I have been to, especially in the Marriott family, I would have expected better."

I would 100% recommend and I really enjoyed my stay! It also was a really good distance away from the beach and shops so wasn’t for to talk at all x"
